All set for the big family gathering in Milan
The Seventh World Meeting of Families will take place in Milan from 30 th May until 3rd June.
Pope Benedict XVI will be present at this extraordinary event and will celebrate a Solemn Mass on the final day in The North Park of Bresso Airport.
Two more significant moments for reflection will be at the Duomo di Milano (The Cathedral in Milan) on 2nd June where a Solemn Mass will be celebrated by Pope Benedict XVI and at San Siro Stadium thousands of children preparing for Confirmation will have the chance to meet Pope Benedict XVI .
The meeting will be five days of joy and reflection to rediscover the value of the family, the symbol of the ultimate expression of the acceptance of life that comes and our World Heritage.
Issues which directly concern the relationship between the family and the mass media will be subject to numerous discussions in the cultural programme and TV2000 – the tv network of Italian bishops will give special coverage on this theme.
Researchers involved in “Family and Media” are also expected to participate.
